Ticket Price: SGD$100F.T. Island (Korean: 에프티 아일랜드), Five Treasure Island, or FTI, is the name of the band. The name F.T. Island stands for ‘Five Treasure Island’, each of the five members being a treasure.
The band’s official color is yellow, and their fans carry yellow flags known as “pentasticks.”
Their debut album, Cheerful Sensibility, made the sixth best-selling album of 2007 in South Korea.
F.T. Island’s official fan club name is “Primadonna”.
This is FT Island’s Singapore Debut and it is a concert showcase brought to you by Datzentertainment for the fans who have been extremely supportive of this event. It is by special request from the FT Island fans that the organizer is doing this concert showcase and the response from everyone thus far has been most encouraging.

In regards to the club entry, there is no problems for minors (under 18) as they will not be serving alcohol and one of the reason y it is moved to the afternoon as most of their fans are minors so no worries.
For the fanmeet, lets be alittle patient.. how the tix will be won will be revealed after this Saturday, 30th May.
Wongen, Singapore so far (touch wood) no virus so far.. and our government def have taken lots of measures not to make it happen so we r definitely safe, if not the boys also wldnt come here right? hehehe
Hopefully there will b a good show out this Saturday as there will b press coverage n it will look good sg so that they can see the power of our local fans..

Only on the first day (30 May 2009) of the tickets sales however, that you can get a launch day poster, when purchasing your tickets.

From 31st May 2009 onwards, until 24th June 2009, tickets will be sold at the Customer Service counter (as opposed to the first day’s Organizer counter).
However, for tickets purchased at this period, no posters will be given.

So:
30 May 09 = First Day = Buy Tickets = Get Poster (While stock last)
31 May – 24 Jun 09 = Buy Tickets only

In regards to the price of the tix, depends how u look at it. We all know how difficult it is to get Korean acts to come here to perform and compare to go overseas to see them perf like Korea n Jap, its quite a steal already esp to see the pple u like… ^__^

even if like normal kpop concert in other sg neighboring countries its around 1.5hrs to 2 hrs and the best tix price is $250+ so $100 is definitely not ex!

You will get a free poster upon purchasing the ticket on the first day, while stocks last.
However, IMM will be giving away another version of their showcase poster, should you wish to get this version as well, you will have to spend $30 at any shops at IMM.

for my point of view i don’t think it’s gonna be worth to alot of
people… and during the date itself is tvxq concert in thailand
wouldn’t it like clash? for as far as what i’ve known,
majority of sg kpop fans are tvxq fans. and almost during the same
time super junior and ss501 will be in Taiwan.
i think the organizer will need to think twice about the date
i don’t wish to see the exact same thing happen to FT event in
malaysia to happen in Singapore again. It’s gonna be bad for the guys

The date is unfortunately not within our control. Its either this date or the boys not coming totally as their schedule are all stacked up in July.It was meant 2 be in 1st week of July but the Korea side decided to give tis date. If given the chance, the organiser would def love to have that extra time as its super rush for them as well. So would the local fans had preferred the organiser not to bring them in at all?
Whether the price is worth it, its up to individual valuation of it. If you r a true fan, i would tink the price is pretty reasonable. There are alot of fans dun have the spending power of flying to Korea/Jap or overseas to see them. So, compare to the concert tix, air tix, accommodation and expenses, this is consider reasonable. Its not within our control if the fans want to fly to see other stars. How can anyone predict anyting? In July, SS501 are having fanmeet in HK too n other plcs as well. If the organiser is gg to plan around such events, this showcase can never happen n as said earlier, its a date given by F&C.
Do bear in mind, the cost of bringin them in as we all know Korean acts are not cheap and plus other misc costs like the airtix, hotel, bringin their crew too on top of food n many costs that is hidden.
I tink its very unfair to keep using Msia incident for the Sg one. There are alot of terms n conditions tat was not stated or unclear for the Msia one which resulted in the bad turning of events.
For the sg ones, SHOULD anyting happen (which is not likely), all the fans will b refunded the full $100. So fans can b rest assured. Strangely how come everyone dun say a thing when they do jap or other promos, y only sg get penalized for it? Just becoz we r next door? >_<

Like Rgal_Steff mentioned, if you are a true fti fan, $100 is not alot. (In fact, I have no money at all, but my friend who will be going as well, has offered to lend me $100 and although I know I’ll be in heavy debt afterwards, I still took up her offer.)
Anyway, we have to consider the fact that they’re a BAND. They’ll have to fly over their instruments and stuff too, and I doubt their total shipping fee will be cheap.
And although fti may not have the largest fanbase in Singapore, I think it’s unfair that you’re generalizing and even comparing them to dbsk. FYI, from my school alone, (only among my own level mates, idk about the other levels) i know 7 ppl who confirm will be going, and I’m pretty sure there are many more that I’m not aware of.
(And although this is off-topic, about the majority of sg fans being into dbsk : another generalization. The majority of students in my school prefer Big Bang, SJ etc. And among my level mates – around 15 of us that i know of, only me + 3 other ppl like dbsk; the rest don’t. So I’m just saying that you shouldnt generalize cause it’s kinda annoying? Idk.)

The ticket sale went quite well with 50% being sold out jst in a few hours! So we have about 400 up for grabs for the overseas and other fans which couldnt make it today for the sale so go tell your frens to quickly make their way down to IMM!

For the number tags on day of showcase, its a q number to enter the showcase.there will def b fans who will go early to q so in order not to have confusion or argument of cutting q. The organisers will b givin q number tags..more details on the time of the issue of q number..
Example : lets say we announce we will give out Q number at 11am then when time comes, we will give out Q number accordingly to the Q like those who come early or 1st in line will get no 1 n so on..
Then everyone can go eat n rest n come back to the venue at 1pm n q back according to the Q number they have.. tat way there is no way of pple cutting q.

Zaza, the showcase tickets are still available at IMM (customer service counter). For the fanmeet, its all been given out to the respective sites or sponsors… u can still have a try at FTI_Sg contest which is open to Sporeans.

There is no scam but these VIP are not meant for sale.. they r esp for sponsors or media for their giveaway or lucky draws.. so fans do support n get the tickets from IMM to support your stars which is priced at $100..

I’m not selling it for commercial gain nor profit. I have the ticket which is valued at $150/- each but I can’t go. So I’m letting it off at same or lost.

I would still advise FTI fans to get the tixs to get from IMM. VIP tickets holders will b watching from the side of stage not the front.

Hi kristy, the tix i have does have the ‘non-transferable’ behind. I asked my mum today.. she said when they gave her the tix they didn’t specifically ask for her name or NRIC. So i guess they wouldn’t check?

1stly, tickets will only b avail on the showcase day at the venue from 11am – 1pm or till tixs last.. Do come at 11am if u really wan to get the tickets.
For the VIP tixs, there is no meeting the boys backstage, as said previously, its was given to sponsors for the contest or clients. There will be lesser but we will not b revealing the actual numbers. As said, VIP section will b side of stage. The same ting apply as the door will open at 2pm so u can start to go in then. U can choose to come earlier to q as there will b other VIP as well.
Do note, i will not b prob answering any more questions as of tomm as will b out. So just go to the airport n enjoy yourself for the showcase….
